Pathfinders were joined by over 80 leading media clients in the stylish and sophisticated Sanctum Hotel in the heart of buzzy Soho.

Blue Rubicon wowed the judges with their innovative ability to inspire and develop their staff. They were commended by the panel as a defining company in their field , an organisation who have clearly established how to encourage the very best performance from their staff and shown a commitment to a knowledge-sharing culture which is total and fundamental to their business.
All the finalists gave exceptionally strong accounts of their people strategy which were all the more commendable for the challenging economic climate in which they were operating.
For this reason we took the unusual step of awarding a highly commended mention to one of our finalists; congratulations to Target Media who gave this year’s winner such a closely run race.

Pathfinders’ Media Employer of the Year is the UK’s only annual award which recognises media companies’ ability to inspire and develop their staff. Being part of the process to identify and reward those companies which invest in their people is our way of ensuring that the media and marcoms industry continues to attract the best and brightest candidates from across the UK.
The Media Employer Master Class will be held in February 2010 and will provide a judge’s perspective and a selection of our finalists will be talking through elements of their nomination.
