A head-start for our candidates

Our pioneering work experience programme has been running for 35 years. It can be disheartening to leave University with excellent qualifications yet still struggle to source that elusive “first job” in Media and Communications - companies want to see relevant experience on a CV as well as top grades. Our structured placements give candidates an opportunity to gain a valuable insight into their industry of choice whilst developing general office skills. Typically, work experience placements last for two weeks and living expenses are covered by the host company. Our candidates have the opportunity to spend time with some of London’s biggest names in TV, PR, Advertising and Marketing. Placements can be interspersed with temporary work to build a fantastic CV which, together with expert guidance from our consultants, will soon land you that perfect first job.

Work experience - an extra service for our clients

We know that many media companies appreciate the value of offering work experience placements yet are swamped with applications from candidates taking up valuable time and resources. Our managed work experience programme is an additional service for clients which provides high-calibre, motivated candidates for placements, all of whom have been interviewed and screened to our usual high standards.

We source and interview candidates from over 300 colleges and universities throughout the year ensuring your company a consistent supply of diverse candidates who can provide a useful contribution to your organisation from day one. Your consultant will take regular feedback and be on hand to manage expectations ensuring that both sides benefit from the experience.

Each placement lasts for two weeks and is a completely free service for clients. Should you wish to retain a candidate for longer, our usual temporary and permanent fees will apply.
