Relationship Manager

£45,000 + £5,000 car allowance

Newmarket and hybrid home working.

A leading membership organisation are currently looking for a Relationship Manager to work across the East of England.   The role will cover the following locations  Essex, Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk.

You will be responsible for :

• Growing  the membership base and raise the profile of the organisation  in the East through events, a social media presences and relationships with key stakeholders.
• Manage the relationship with a portfolio of member companies
• Understand and articulate the needs of specific sectors of relevance to the regional economy and create solutions to support the development of these sectors
• Utilise your understanding of the political and economic environment to attract and recruit new members
• Develop networks within the East of England business community

To be considered for the role :

Strong track record of sales and account management from a business to business context, ideally in professional services or not for profit environment

Experienced in using social media platforms for the benefit of members but also to attract interest from non members

Comfortable in dealing with the media – specific media training will be provided

Good knowledge of the regional, national and international economic and political climate

AN Understanding of the commercial and economic make up of the East of England
