Senior Policy Advisor – Healthcare

£32,000- £37,000

A fantastic opportunity to join a leading membership organisation. This is a newly created role and you will be part of a team that will be tasked with supporting the health of the nation ! 

You will be responsible for:

·         Develop policy positions, including managing competing business and commercial interests to produce messages with broad support

·         Working on discrete projects (e.g. policy briefs, reports, and consultation responses), manage risk and measure success

·         Drafting and presenting papers for senior-level boards, committees, and forums

• Gaining a deep knowledge of business initiatives to take advantage of the opportunities associated with the economic vision in health
• Meeting regularly with officials in key government departments

To be considered for the role you will match the following :

• Demonstrate a strong grasp of the key policy challenges facing UK businesses and the political environment
• Knowledge of the policymaking process in UK government

·         Demonstrable interest in politics and public policy

·         Good understanding of and enthusiasm for policy, advocacy and business application
